(Hated Trope) Secondary protagonist, usually a woman, gets the main character's powers and is better than them in every way for NO REASON.
1. Gwen Tennyson in the episode "Gwen 10"
Masters the skills of her aliens the instant she turns into them, when it took Ben weeks to figure them out on his own.
2. Iris West/Allen in the CW Flash show in the episode "Run Iris, Run"
Same shit as the Gwen 10 thing, just with Flash powers instead of the Omnitrix.
I hate this trope, I *hate* it! Because it implies that the main characters were a bad choice to have powers even though *we the audience* have seen the main character grow, develop, and use their abilities to do so much good, so to suddenly be shown that apparently the better option was standing next to them most of the time is just irritating.
