[Rare Trope] Abusive/Toxic Father-figures (father figures that are worst than the real father)
**Examples:**
* **Levi Ackerman (AOT) -** Ok, this might not be the best example, I am conflicted on this as well, but Levi is (kind of) physically abusive to Eren and probably was a minor factor in Eren going insane later down the line. He is considered a sort of father figure in the series, and it's clear he does care for the Scouts like his own kids, but still.
* **Silco (Arcane) -** While not abusive, he did enable Jinx's psychosis and more violent traits
* **Fletcher (Whiplash) -** He's a mentor that lots of the jazz band craves to impress, but he's physically and emotionally abusive to all his students
* **Walter White (Breaking Bad) -** Ignoring the fact that he is directly responsible for the death of various people close to Jesse, he also frequently belittled Jesse at every corner, even though Walt wouldn't be anywhere in the meth business without Jesse
* **Askeladd (Vinland Saga) -** Askeladd always saw Thorfinn as an experiment rather than a son; he wanted to see if Thorfinn could become someone that Thors (Thorfinn's real father) wanted to be
* **Bojack Horseman (...) -** He belittled Todd for years to keep him around; he failed to shelter Sarah Lynn, and don't get me started on Penny.
