Is it weird to still send nudes in a relationship?

me and a few friends were talking the other day and we got on the conversation of nudes. they know me and wife have been together for 3 years and I told them we still send nudes to each other. but i thought it was weird because 1 of my buddies has been together with his partner for over a year and he said they stopped and they said it was weird we still do. my response was why wouldn't I still find my wife attractive after being together for a few years. so I figured I'd ask you guys because that sounded wrong to me.
