Departure of Charless Lee and Jeff Van Gundy

If you’re wondering why our offensive adjustments have been so bad in the playoffs the last 2 years. A big reason could be Charles Lee and Jeff Van Gundy both left 2024 after our championship season.

They were also only hired in 2024 the only season we didn’t collapse to lower seeds.

After the historic collapses that our team has experienced 3 out of the last 4 years with Joe at the helm.

Losing to an 8 seed Heat team and going down 3-0 initially.

Being the only NBA team in history to blow back to back 20 point leads in the playoffs.

And finally being the only Celtics team to blow a 3-1 lead in our 80 year history.

Brad should either replace Joe with a coach with better offensive adjustments or if not at least get him more help to improve our adjustments. We’ve seen in 2024 that Joe with a stacked coaching staff can deliver and beat teams we are supposed to beat.

If a coaching change is not the answer maybe coaching additions might be.
