Always Pay Attention To Your Events!

So, I was just out doing my thing, when I get a message popup saying that a squirrel's gone mad. No biggie, right? Well apparently, I can't read! I lured the one squirrel around to my turrets, where I expected them to kill it in a hilariously overpowered show of force. Just as I turned the corner, though, I realize another colonist is getting attacked. I look down below and sure enough, a second squirrel is going to town on Barracuda. Then I realize there's a whole squirrel army right outside my gates! Oh crap...
Caught totally unawares by this particular event, I make the rest of my colony hide in shame while the people who got caught outside gather in the middle of my fields. With the turrets raining fiery death all around me, I don't know what else to do, so we buddy up and start trying to take them all out. I micro the turrets the best I can to take out the incoming squirrels while everyone there concentrates on the closest squirrels. After a hellish firefight, we come out bloodied and riddled with bullets, but all still alive. Fuck those squirrels!
