Invasions Ringed City

Which boss controls if I can be invaded in Ringed City? My friend and I are co-oping the dlc. He’s never played it. I want to keep our ability to be invaded open until we are completely done except the last boss, whichever it is. If anyone knows definitively I’d appreciate the knowledge!
