Need HELP/TIPS (PS4)

I’ve been playing CoD since World at War...with that being said my K/D and gameplay has always been outstanding. K/D on average always around 1.4-1.6.

This CoD though I haven’t been playing as well. My K/D is at a 1.13 right now, which is extremely low for me. I seem to lose gunfights almost every time, even when I get the first shot. For some reason I’ve been doing this thing where I always press the R3 button and drop shot while shooting (I play on Tactical) I use Kontrol Freeks. I have also tried multiple different button layouts.

I quick scope as well, which I seem to do way better with than using ARs or SMGs.

I just want to hear some people’s opinions on best setups and what settings you use for your regular AR/SMG classes and your sniper classes.
