The Case for Voting for a Third Party
1. Voting for a major party candidate is also a vote for the two-party status quo. Talk about throwing your vote away
2. When third party ideas gain traction, policy makers take notice, and have to begin changing their proposals. We don't need to win. We only need to show that there is growing support for our ideas.
3. It may take several election cycles, but eventually libertarians may become a viable third party, and that can only be good for the health of our democracy. Voting third party considers the larger picture, not just the immediate election.
