User Interface Tagging System

I have recently sent an Email to Epic in regards to an idea I had. Bellow is what I had sent and let me know what each of your thoughts are in the comments!

Dear Epic Games,

I hope this Email finds you well! If you will allow me a few minutes of your time, I have an idea on a user interface system that can help consolidate and categorize many players' locker room loadouts!

Currently we have available 100 slots for our personal loadouts. That’s a lot; And I’m thankful for it! For my friends and I, we try making our loadouts as unique as possible. Mixing and matching combinations (as I imagine you want us to do) to, more or less, bring to a skin a new personality. With every new character we make, we try to fit them in the same row as other loadouts of the same theme. For me, the very first row in my locker room is reserved for Space related creations of mine. The next, Angels/Holy deities, Demonic/Fire creatures, Sci-Fi, etc…

I’ll share with you one of the many loadouts I’m particularly proud of.

**CHARACTER:** Galaxia (The 1st Fortnite Crew Skin, using her version with the pink hair)

**PICKAXE:** Stardust Strikers (*Galaxy Scout’s* personal pickaxe)

**BACK BLING:** The Six String (*Power Cord’s* personal back bling, pink variant)

**GLIDER:** Comet Crasher (*Siona’s* personal Glider)

My depiction for the above loadout is that she’s an Intergalactic Pop Star! The Stardust Strikers’ neon blue handles match perfectly with Galaxia’s boots, and the space design the blades provide are almost identical to the one you see inside Galaxia. The Comet Crasher I view as her mode of transportation through the stars as she shreds some sick guitar licks! My emote combinations reflect this idea as well.

I have her slotted in with my other space creations. However, near the middle of my locker room loadouts I have another row dedicated to music/party characters I have made. Rather than take up a slot and copy her to that row, I kept her in the space category since she most reflects that. Which brings me to my idea I would like to share: ***Tags!***

Tags aid in classification, mark ownership, note boundaries, and indicate identity. If possible, I believe a tag system should be implemented in Fortnite’s Locker Room! My character Galaxia could have useful tags such as *Space, Party/Music, Rainbow, Fortnite Crew, Ch:2 Se:5, Female, etc…*

With this implemented, players could easily search up a tag and find a selection of loadouts related to their searches! Want to find all Llama related skins and items you have? Just highlight the Llama tag and anything not related goes away! What to find all Battle Pass related Skins or Accessories? Highlight the Battle Pass tag! Each skin, pickaxe, and back bling should have their own preset tags. But the players could have the option to add tags of their choice as well for their own personal flare. We wouldn’t have to worry about manually organizing our locker rooms all the time after each newly created combination! We can create whatever we want, slap some tags on, and be done!

It is my wish you will take into consideration and implement this idea! I believe it will be a wonderful and user-friendly addition to the game!
