Main Event was a huge missed opportunity.

I love our tribal chief but I can’t be the only one rubbed the wrong way by having one guy hold both world titles and him not even show up on Raw and Smackdown most weeks and skip non major PPVs.

Honestly this was a huge opportunity to at least let Drew win one of the titles so we can at least see one title regularly on TV or on PPVs. It really devalues both title in my opinion to not see them both regularly appear during shows.

Drew was the perfect guy to dethrone Reigns in the perfect place with the perfect crowd with the perfect story. But instead we got another lazy bullshit finish with interference for like the 20th time. I feel like all the momentum Drew has is gone. I mean he’s lost to Reigns 5 staight times more than 10 including houseshows). It just makes him look like somebody who can’t get the win when it matters most. Granted he looked strong in defeat but him randomly singing after losing to try and send the crowd home happy was just so weird and awkward. Maybe they could make it play out longer and this is a long term story telling but they can’t expect fans to keep supporting Drew when he does nothing but lose every time he’s against Reigns.

For all Drew’s talk about the fans deserving better than a part time champion and fans rabidly agreeing with him. Only for him to lose at what seems at the perfect time is making me lose my patience with wrestling. I’ve been watching since 2004 and have generally enjoyed it through the ups and downs but right now it feels to me that this whole things is getting dragged too long and that I’m losing all my love for pro wrestling.
