Duesselfication: 10th Anniversary

Long time no see, r/FireEmblemHeroes! At this point, I wonder if Duessel should even be my measure by which I rate these units? Probably not but, I didn't want to change the series at this point. (: It's been a while and I'd like to use this "anniversary" post to give my original units a do-over of sorts and update them to the present. Please enjoy and remember the Duesselfication Guidelines. Feedback is always welcome!

1. Unit has a "good" PRF weapon.
2. Unit has a minimum of one premium skill that is inheritable and/or an upgrade of a previous skill.
3. Unit has a minimum of three "good" skills.
4. Duessel also became the new baseline for top stats in his class but I **DIDN'T** do that for these units.

Gilliam is a true frontliner and absolute UNIT who needs to be added to the game already! I really like Impenetrable Dark and I think that shows in both of my theorycrafts today, so I hope you don't mind my usage of similar effects. I felt with the Feuds, it's a bit more safe to give it out as an effect. I'd also like to see something new come out with the Breath skills but, we shall see.

Weapon: Aegis Lance - 16 Mt. - 1 Range. - Accelerates Special Cooldown Charge -1. At start of turn, if an ally is within 2 spaces of unit, unit gains【Charge】until end of turn. If unit or foe initiates combat after moving to a different space, disables skills of all foes and inflicts Atk/Def-4 on foe during combat.

**Part of me wishes I had renamed the lance here but, I kept it the same as the original post.**

Assist: -

Special: Great Shield - Upgrades from Aegis **\*INHERITABLE\*** \- CD: 4 - Reduces damage inflicted by attacks by 15% of unit's Def. When Special triggers, reduces damage from foe's attack by 30% and boosts unit's damage by the amount reduced. (Damage is increased by the amount that would have been reduced, even if amount of damage reduced becomes 0 due to effects such as Deadeye.)

A: Sturdy Breath - If foe initiates combat, grants Atk/Def+4 during combat and Special cooldown charge +1 per attack. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.)

B: Hardy Fighter 3

C: Cross Spur Def

Joshua has and always will be my favorite unit and I really wanted to craft him as a true Godsword, but with the ability to be semi-future-proof. I tried to be somewhat tame but a little crazy at the same time. Hopefully, I achieved that goal whilst still making him a truly top-tier Sword Infantry in a world of absolutely stacked Swordies. I really leaned into his affinity for giving the middle finger to magic with bolstered Res. I also went with a different theme with his PRF skill, namely everyone loves his gambler aspect and he's also quite good at Sleight of Hand. So, I themed his PRF on his ability to pull the wool over the eyes of his opponents and gave him buffs based on his foe's thinking they have the upperhand.

Weapon: Tempest Audhulma - 16 Mt. - 1 Range - Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range. Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Res+4 during combat, but after combat, if unit attacked, deals 5 damage to unit. Neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat.

B: Sleight of Hand - During combat, disables skills of all foes excluding foe in combat. At start of combat, if foe's Spd is ≥ unit's Spd, inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack during combat. Repeat this process for Atk, Def, and Res and gain the following effects:

if foe's Atk is ≥ unit's Atk: neutralize effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks.

if foe's Def is ≥ unit's Def: reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats × 6 (max 60%) for this unit's first combat.

if foe's Res is ≥ unit's Res: restores 7 HP to unit per attack during combat.
