Did Oda change his mind on Green Bull?



SPOILERS FOR UP UNTIL THE END IF WANO!!!



I don't don't if I'm alone in this feeling, but I just get the string sense that from the first appearance of Green Bull to the last appearance of Green Bull Oda changed him completely.


His appearance changed, in Dressrosa Green Bull makes his first appearance. He has longer hair, a longer shaped face, his nose was closer to that to his mouth, and he had a longer mouth similar if that to Oden's. Mind you it's just a silhouette but there's a clear difference between his first look in Dressrosa and his last look in Wano. In which he has short hair, a higher nose, more dominant lips, a smaller mouth, more boxy face shape


His demeanor changed, in Dressrosa (while just being a page of dialogue) he appears to have a more laid-back personality, he's shown to have more of a soft personality and joking with Fujitora about his desire to rid of the seven warlord system, he overall just gave off the feeling of a mix of Fujitora and Aokiji, being laid back and more self caring. Even In Wano when he talks about arriving to Wano he still seems more laid back, but than when we actually see him he adapts more a mentality similar to that of Sakazuki. Having more of a "if you get in my way than you are my enemy" mentality and acting more like a lap dog to Sakazuki only going to Wano seeking for praise. He just calms off more ruthless and doesn't at all feel like he did in Dressrosa, mind you he isn't talking to a fellow Admiral when he arrives in Wano and has no desire to be kind to any residents of Wano but he still overall feels like a completely different person.

His Smile, This one is probably just be reaching but most characters who are smiling when they are introduced are primarily people who never stop smiling, but than in Wano....yeah, he doesn't smile once.

His name, When he appears we are told that his name is Ryokigyu and that he has an alias, "Green Bull", but than when we are reintroduced to him we are told that his actual name is Aramaki and his alias is Ryokugyu.


Maybe I'm overthinking this whole thing but it just really feels like Oda made Green Bull for a quick appearance at the end of Dressrosa and than when he was actually meant to appear Oda completely threw out the character and changed him completely.

What's your thoughts on this? Am I just stupid or does any one else have a similar feeling?
