Behind the shoot retrospective: Sativa
Sativa. I first met her at a self defense vid velvetkick was filming. It was in a theater type setting and it was her first time kicking a guy. In that first video you could see it took her a while to get comfortable using force behind her kicks and she was very shy/timid. After realizing I wasn’t hurt as bad as she thought I’d be, and with my encouragement, she ratcheted up the intensity and slowly got more comfortable.
The next video we did she was full on eager and not holding back. She had this subtle, school girl sexiness about her and the experience of ballbusting definitely brought her inner dominant side out.
The rest of our shoots were pretty electric and seamless. I wouldn’t say they were all time greats by any means, but they were certainly quality, ballbusting passion led clips. She played the camera nicely and got me confidence with her striking. She loved to back kick and I know we incorporated some in every shoot.
We meshed well together and genuinely liked working together. I think it showed. Also I trusted her wholeheartedly to kick me accurately and she trusted that I wouldn’t hurt her by moving or flinching, especially when she was balancing kicking on stilettos.
We filmed a bunch together (I think 5 videos in total) and I know she worked with other male models in velvetkick videos as well as with Scott a few times. Each shoot she seemed to get more confident and bold, shedding clothing and feeling empowered as a dominant woman. The transformation was quite remarkable.
At this point she may have been doing other adult filming from what I remember on top of velvetkick and other distribution partners. She was definitely sexier than ever and if you see the transformation from our first shoot to this one, it was remarkable.
I will say it takes a lot of confidence and courage to go from being fully dressed in shoots and unsure of yourself to gradually showing more skin and feeling more confident in your abilities to being full on in lingerie/naked and fully empowered. So, I always admired her for that.
Anyway, this specific shoot was our last one together unfortunately. We were filming this vid at a domination dungeon (I believe it was mistress Alexandra’s dungeon) and the room was hot (and the camera lights made it even hotter). I know the dungeon type setting was brand new for her and it didn’t take her long to settle into that dominant persona. I don’t think she pursued domination as a profession but this was almost a tryout in a way.
And it showed. I mean she was stunningly gorgeous in this one and I was trying not to stare at anything but her eyes and curly hair, as that’s the most vulnerable and seductive she had looked with me. And I this point I considered her a friend.
We took a lot of pics during the shoot as well, as that’s when velvetkick would sell access to videos and photos from the shoots as part of the membership. Scott definitely had increased production quality with both the video camera and the still camera. Lighting the scene just so was an obsession of his. And I think the quality started to show. However this also led to longer shoots.
The pics especially were his focus, and I know sometimes the pics from a shoot would get more downloads / lead to more purchases than the short clips he’d post of the shoot. So we spent a fair amount of time holding a shot to make sure it captured the moment in time rather than taking a video still. I know I didn’t mind her having to repeatedly slam her thigh into my crotch on hold for a 10 count, multiple times for one photo.
To be honest I don’t remember a lot from the video part of the shoot (definitely the photo part I remember). I know the video action was definitely done in sections (like a few minutes each scene from what I recall). Then we’d snap some pics and switch to next scene.
It definitely felt more production heavy than other shoots where we’d just let the action fly. I understand the dungeon cost money to rent and Sativa’s cost had increased by now. But, despite their friendship, I don’t think the Alexandra was keen on Scott having an “outside mistress” do the filming in her dungeon and not one of her own. That and because we were against the clock as she was renting the space by the hour and we already needed an hour of set up and spent around an hour doing photos, the shoot itself from what I remember felt rushed.
I’d love to see this footage again because I feel like I was trying not to look at her the whole time or I had my eyes closed. Lol. I felt like I was seeing her naked (it was close) and I felt like I needed to be respectful of her (which is weird to say in a fetish shoot),
At this point in my filming however I was definitely acting a bit more than feeling any instant pain. I’d often drop slowly on the third or fourth kick or knee. Or bend a slight knee / bend over. Or I’d wait for the gratifying sound of a cleanly hit testicle to echo in my ear before falling.
My testicles were definitely iron clad at this point so it would take a hard hitter (like a Katia or Erin) so get me to feel some pain.
I know the heat and pressure affected her as well during the shoot. She was always deadly accurate and I think she accidentally scratched my thigh with her heel during the video. She wasn’t the most confident in these stilettos. Between me not getting hurt easily to the combination of the tension in the dungeon, the pressure to get things perfect in the conditions and the bright, hot room that we only had for three hours this definitely wasn’t our best production. Sales wise begged to differ but the fact I can’t remember the action means something was off that day.
Funny enough, some of her hardest knees and kicks during this shoot were when we taking the pictures. Scott would like to get pics of any specific moment the angle was especially good so it would look like action shots. The key was trying to get them to look authentic and not staged. But also holding still enough to get the shot? Not as easy as it sounds. She lost her balance a few times trying to hold a standing kick in place in my groin. It was kinda like ballet class.
This picture above however, she was getting agitated and shoved her thigh so firmly into my groin i definitely made the face of holy sh*t that was unexpected. Had I known that would have been one of the last knees she ever gave me.
For the record I loved her knees better than her kicks. They were sexy and led by her thigh. And perfectly accurate. The kind of knee you can take repeatedly without pain - not because it didn’t hurt - but because you didn’t want it to end.
