Behind the shoot retrospective: Morrigan Hel
For this shoot I had already worked with a few legendary mistresses, like Alexandra and Remi. Morrigan was a UK based mistress with a great reputation as a stern ballbuster. Scott felt she epitomized the velvet kick ethos - tall, slender, mysterious and powerful, so he booked her when she was taking up residence at a dungeon in nyc and off we went.
To be honest at first I was a bit frightened by her reputation as a strict dominatrix. I had preferred working with amateurs and part time pros who were more joyful about the experience. But business is business and we did the shoot with me as the main actor. She was a consummate pro - accurate, stern, demanding. Her platforms connected accurately and she mixed the mental and physical aspects quite well.
Overall we got some solid action and it checked the boxes for the ballbusting purist and velvetkick fan. Plus she looked great in her fishnets and tall heels - her long legs photographed really well.
I think I treated this one as more business than pleasure - and while it was an honor to work with a legend, I didn’t feel super overwhelmed by the moment and sort of forgot about this shoot over the years.
