I recently came across this old clip and had forgotten about this shoot. If you’ve ever been kicked with heavy boots you know it doesn’t take much effort to cause pain. Especially a solid platform toe. There’s also no missing a target with a large surface area. Which is why it’s always fun and a bit nerve wracking to be on the receiving end of a heavy boot kick.
In this shoot the model didn’t hold back and definitely landed some solid kicks especially with my pants down with her solid boots. I give her credit as it’s very hard to maintain balance if you’re trying to kick on a high heel. There’s definitely a lot of coordination that needs to happen for the model to land the kick while maintaining balance. That said the unpredictability of those kicks makes it difficult on the receiving end to know exactly where the kick is going to land. Sometimes an inner thigh kick hurts worse than a square in the balls kick. In this shoot she definitely landed both.
I do remember this was a fun shoot to do especially when you have a model that doesn’t have fear or much concern for your well being. It’s also psychologically damaging to know that you’re at her mercy especially as one wrong move with a boot like that can lead to some serious damage. So as a male model you need to trust that the person isn’t going to do anything super risky while also inflicting damage. Fortunately I got lucky and escaped this shoot without serious harm - just some bruises on the inner thigh and sore balls - cause the damage could have been a lot worse
