Discworld ‘Vibes’ in other media.

No, it’s not a misspelling of the Duke’s name. My question is, what other media have you enjoyed that has given you a dis world ‘vibe’? Whether it be in its content matter, style, portrayal of characters, or what have you?

As a starting point, I’d like to raise Disco Elysium. The main character is a substance-troubled detective (like Vimes), paired with a by-the-book outsider with an iron sense of purpose. They’re trying to lay down the law in a run-down urban cesspit that’s doesn’t respect them or their authority, but only respects power.

But which is more, the world is minutely built and dripping with detail and pathos, and a lot of the ‘dialogue’ occurs within the main character’s own noggin.
